Baby Bump

29 Weeks

We have officially moved to a new wall!  Here is the last little sneak peak of the nursery before the final reveal!  I’m so in love with how the shiplap turned out, and I can’t wait to have everything else done.  I was so determined when we found out we were expecting to have the shiplap done when we starting taking bump pictures at 12 weeks.  But I guess I just need to accept that things won’t always go according to plan in this motherhood journey 🙂

Banner: HoorayEveryday ————— Dress: Zulily (no longer available)

How Far Along:  29 weeks

Gender:  GIRL

Weight Gain:  14 pounds

Maternity Clothes:  Everyday!  I put on a non-maternity tank top to sleep in one night, and the belly didn’t stay covered for long!  I think we are past the point of making some of my old shirts still “work”.

Sleep:  Pregnancy insomnia has set in again, but it isn’t too bad.  I did have one night that I was up for about 2 hours.  And I’ve been having trouble sleeping when I get too warm (which seems to be all the time lately!).  But I am very happy that I’m still able to find comfortable positions to get some rest.

Movement:  ALL THE TIME!  I seriously think this will be one of the things that I will miss most about pregnancy.  I constantly catch myself sitting at my desk just feeling this little girl’s kicks!

Cravings:  I think I filled any possible pregnancy craving at the Iowa State Fair last week.  The apple tacos were at the top of my list of favorites!  And it’s safe to say A.J. filled a few dad cravings too 😉

Queasy or Sick:  I don’t know if I would classify this as queasy or sick, but after my overload of fair food, I had some serious stomach cramping.  I think it was more or less a combination of over-doing it at the fair, both with food and walking.

Have You Started To Show Yet:  Without a doubt!  A.J. and I always play a game at the state fair where we count pregnant ladies (I know, we’re super cool), and I don’t think anyone had to question if I fit in that category this year!

Belly Button In or Out?  Depending on how tight my shirt is, you can definitely see the outline.  Or when I sit up in bed and contract my “abs”, it definitely pops out!

Looking Forward To:  My super sweet sisters & sister-in-law are putting together a baby shower in a few weeks and I can’t wait for that!  Also, we scheduled our maternity pictures for September, so I’m super excited for those too (or really any excuse to convince my husband to be a part of pictures 😉 )!
