I so can’t believe we are 2 short weeks (hopefully not too much more than that at least ;)), from welcoming this little girl into our lives!  I’m so ready for our world to be turned upside down!

How Far Along:  38 weeks

Gender:  Baby Girl Weg

Weight Gain: 23 pounds

Maternity Clothes:  I think I officially wear more of A.J.’s clothes than even my own maternity clothes now 🙂  He was all out of shirts the other day and couldn’t figure out where they all went, and low and behold they were in my laundry hamper.  Just a few more weeks and I’ll give them all back!

Sleep: Becoming less and less.  I was wide awake at 3:50 the other morning so I just got up for the day.  It’s amazing how productive you are by 7:00 AM when you’re up at 4:00 AM!  But I don’t think I’ll make a habit of it if I don’t have to ;).  A.J. volunteered to sleep on the couch the other night, but I think that was more for his benefit since I’m so restless, I’ve been keeping him up too.  But considering how uneventful this pregnancy has been, I can deal with a couple of weeks of uncomfortable sleep.

Movement: All the time!  I think I even felt a full outline of her foot the other day!

Cravings:  If we’re keeping count, I think I’m up to 8 pumpkin pie blizzards from Dairy Queen in the last 3 weeks.  I ran through the drive through after my appointment last week, and the warehouse is out of the pie crust they put in them, so it’s just not the same anymore.  Probably for the best, because I really should be cutting back any way 🙂

Queasy or Sick:  A.J. passed his cold on to me, so while I am impatient about this little girl making her appearance, I’m grateful for the extra time to hopefully get over this cold.  I don’t want anyone sick around a newborn, much less myself, so I’ve been pushing the Vitamin C & cough drops.  I also mixed up some hot tea with Thieves and Lemon essential oils, and that really soothes my throat too.

Looking Forward To:  Maybe this week I can finally finish the nursery.  I’ve cooled down on the last few finishing details because she won’t be using the room right away any way, and with how busy I’ve been at work I would rather just do the finishing touches after we’re home from the hospital and I have a little more spare time to take care of it all.  And, I can’t wait to dress this little girl up!  I organized her dresser and closest the other day and little girl clothes are just so much fun!
